Project Description
LPI was contracted to design and build a distribution centre for Amazon. The job was unique as the turnaround time from project award to occupancy was less than one year.
Scope of Work
As a large space with multiple offices and indoor printing areas, LPI ensured cooling through the entire building with over 100 packaged rooftop units, which we landed by helicopter due to the building occupancy restrictions.
Air distribution was coordinated with multiple mezzanines and equipment layouts throughout the building and the HVAC was designed for critical areas, such as the Made On Demand printing area.
